Note: The application usage may look a little different from the video below since Geotab functionality has moved to Geotab Drive.  Otherwise, most of the functionality and formatting is the same as before.


Our latest video shows how you can use an Excel file to query APIs in Geotab. This has the potential to allow for highly customized reporting. While Geotab has extensive customized reporting, in some cases you need additional data elements the report format does not include, such as odometer, current driver for a vehicle, current vehicle for a driver, and so on.

While the VBA can be expanded for more API coverage and additional error handling, there is unique potential to create simple lookups for customers or mini-dashboards, that pull data from several sources easily taking the already advanced Geotab reporting to a whole new level.
